DoubleTree by Hilton Bath

The room was large, comfortable and well-appointed. There was air conditioning which worked well and there was lots of closet space available. The bathroom was clean and very nice with a walk-in shower. Great blackout curtains and double-paned windows kept out most of the noise in the area. It is very close to the Abbey and lots of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. There is an underground parking garage next door that belongs to the supermarket, which is a good thing, as parking in Bath is terrible, but it was not cheap - no discount is available to hotel guests.

Matteo at the breakfast welcome desk was friendly, helpful and super - professional. He gave the place a touch of class! The parking below the hotel was useful, and the location - alongside the river, 3 minutes walk from the centre of town and a couple of minutes from good restaurants and bars - is excellent. The room was a good size. Housekeeping staff were friendly.

The room, queen with sofa, was spacious and very clean. It overlooked the river and was very quiet. There was a separate shower to the bath. Lots of towels and toiletries provided. Little cooler fridge was handy,

Room was very well placed near to the lift which was a help for my husband who cannot walk far. Bed very comfy and room spacious. Hotel was in a great location with disabled parking right outside the front door which was a real bonus for us.
